Howdy!

I have some exciting news!

The Broken Katana omnibus campaign is live right now on Kickstarter!

It's the omnibus collection of these first three novels in my Howl series, which will include a fourth, as yet unpublished novel. You’ll be receiving all four of these books in one convenient package in paperback or hardcover.

Go check out the campaign! I'm hoping for a big launch and you can get the hardcover right now for a 10% discount! The offer expires after 48 hours so now is the time to join the campaign!

Also, for you backers of the Broken River Zines campaign, there is an exclusive discount on Broken Katana below so do check that out!

People seem to be having no trouble with the pledge manager and locking in their rewards, so thank you all for getting on top of that. In case you missed the campaign, you can still check out the preorder store to subscribe to the magazine before it launches and is delivered in January!

Thanks for all your support and do check out the Broken Katana campaign to get your early bird discount!

Well, it didn't just end. It ended Thursday afternoon but I didn't say anything then because I figured you'd heard enough from me already. Over the weekend, we all relaxed and did normal things. I did a bookfair in southern Minnesota.

Anyway, the campaign is over! We're now busily working towards lining up all the work necessary to get the first issue printed in early January and then keep up that pace for the rest of the year.

If you missed the campaign, you can check out the preorder store to sign up for the subscription. But do it sooner than later!

Payment has gone through on the majority of backers but there are a few of you who need to either update their payment method or add a payment method. Along with that, the Pledge Manager will be going out shortly so you can confirm your subscription, add your address, grab any additional add ons and so on.

Thanks again for everyone who supported the campaign!

Just under two hours left in this campaign!
Thank you all so much for supporting this zine! We're gearing up for a big year next year with a beautiful zine of literature and art! We can't wait to get these printed and then shipped to you every month.

And we just crossed our next Stretch Goal! There will now be more art inside the zines!

If you haven't backed the campaign yet, this is the last call! The crowdfund ends in just a few hours so come join us!

Thanks again and we'll have more to share with you in the months ahead!

The campaign ends in just a few short days! We're still inching closer to that next Stretch Goal and we're just about halfway to securing free shipping to all US backers, which is a big deal!

Every crowdfunding campaign begins with a big drive of backers, then falls into a bit of stagnation in the middle, which is where we are now. But the last 48 hours are typically a bit of a bonanza too, so if you've been holding back until that next paycheck or until you get that 48 hour reminder from Backerkit, we'll be ready for you! But there's no downside to pledging early and showing your support.

As the campaign winds down, the work on our end increases as we're getting the first few issues lined up so they'll be ready to mail on time. With that in mind, Tony Tran has shown up to deliver the concept art for another one of the issues!

More soon! Remember to spread the word, tell your friends, your mom, your uncle.

Hello hello!
Hope everyone has had a good week since we last spoke. We're feeling pretty good over here! We've ticked past the $2,000 in funding so far. It's not as far as I'd like to be along right now, but we're making slow but steady progress onwards to the stretch goals.

There are still two more weeks until the end of the campaign, so plenty of time to increase the funding and get the word out! If you like what we do and are excited about a beautiful physical object full of art, stories, and essays, share this campaign with a friend!

We'll have some more reveals in the coming days, including some titles from essays we'll be publishing over the course of the 2027 subscription.

Let's hit that next stretch goal and keep on moving!
